I was really dissappointed when I read the article about the woman human right activist I admire so much. She's been one of the best human rights activist Ghana has ever had. She always stands her grounds and I admire her for that. However, when I read the news on myjoyonline I was confused as whether it was My OYE or a different person.

One thing we as Ghanaians should know is that, our culture is our heritage and there are so many things that are going wrong in this country of ours' because of these so called human rights activist. We have been so much soaked into this so called democracy and human rights that, we condone and connive with anything at anytime. I have always asked myself? Where is the human rights activist when the child who has the right to be in school is loitering around in the street hawking? Where are the human rights activists when the child in the remotest village is struggling to survive because of famine? Are these not issues that need urgent attention and worth advocating for by the human rights activist than what our culture frowns upon? Some people seems to amuse and amaze me when today they see black and in the next split seconds they see white.

What is Oye Lithur telling us? That we should allow the 'HOMOS' and the 'LESBIANS' to operate just in the name of human rights? Has she forgotten that when these 'homos' and 'lesbians are allowed to do their own thing, the problem comes back to the nation? Somethings by nature are wrong whiles others by nature are right. In my own opinion i think this should not be encouraged just in the mere name of human rights. We should condemn it and bring them to book.

If only these so called human rights activist can give us a break so we can move our beloved nation forward, we would be better persons and a nation.

In trying to be someone, you are only putting God to test that HE did not make you in his likeness and that others are miles ahead of you in terms of being human. You are challenging him of his creation and HE will not forgive you for that. Ralph Waldo Emerson could not have said it better when he says “ Make the most of yourself for that is all there is of you” Indeed you have no reason to make the least of yourself when you can make the most of yourself.

Becoming aware of ourselves has great influence on the successful future we cry for all the time. Why I said that? What would you make of yourself if you are always trying to be someone? It simply you are going to spend all your entire life on this earth trying to fetch water with a basket whiles you have a basin just in front of you. You refuse to see it because you have not spend time looking beyond where the basket was placed and still refusing to. But is that what your creator wants you to be? Trying to do the unimportant things in life? NO! He wants us to be ourselves by looking beyond where we are now so we can reach the basin so as we can fetch the water for use and HE will direct our path. Are you not aware God has given you the power to rule your own world and whether you blame others or not for your predicament it’s your own world? Do you not know that making it all in life is knowing who you are in order to find the best place you fit and work assiduously towards it?

Many of us are looking desperately outside of ourselves for something worthwhile whiles the worth is actually in us. This is because we think averagely and do not believe in whatever we have to become successful individuals. However, our ins and outs in life are the choices we make Today.


The decision as to whether we can be successful or not lie within us. Knowing who you are, what you can do, and how you can do that is indeed a choice but it’s what I refer to as the first fundamental right in ones life and not a privilege .Your creator in his own wisdom made you the way you are because he believes no one can be and will ever be like you.

He made you so unique that no one can and will ever be like you across the shadows of this spherical universe. As a friend always says “Its either you will come across someone below or above my standard but my standard, no”.

6. But I have to IGNORE OUTSIDERS

YOUR ASSIGNMENT MAY BE DEEPLY RESNTED BY SOMEONE WHO ENVIES YOUR SUCCESS

Those Who Do not Really Accept Your Assignment. These are the people who do not really know you and always judge you by your outward appearance and your circumstances. They always laugh at your dreams because they have not spent time with God, fasting and praying for you.


Those Who Do Not Truly Respect Your Assignment. These are the people who do not see the relevance of little things. They do not respect or appreciate the little things you can do and will therefore discourage you from taking those bold steps. Mike says ignore those people for they do not understand your assignment and will therefore not respect those things that you cherish and hold dear to your heart. Let them not influence you with their disrespect for your assignment. Just move on and wait patiently upon the Lord


Those Who Will Not Protect Your Assignment. How would you treat a stone that to you has no value? It’s of no importance to you than something you cherish like a diamond. This is exactly how people who do not respect your assignment and so will protect it. They treat it just as the stone that is of no importance to them. Wrong people breathe life into your weakness. Right people starve your weakness.


Those Who Do Not Expect You To Really Achieve Your Achievement. Have you come across people in your life who believe you cannot really do this or that? They claim people have ventured in those areas and did not make it or succeeded. So they think you should do something else they think is good for you which has no bearing to your desires. One thing that is clear here is they have little faith in your assignment. Those people are expecting you to fail so that they can validate their of their perceived failure of your assignment. Do not waste your time and energy trying to persuade them. It’s of no use for, you are only wasting your breathe.



In the course of fulfilling your assignment or your purpose on this earth these four people will be used to lose your focus. Ignore these people in your life if you have to do something meaningful in your life. But do not worry for the God that made you in his likeness will not sit and watch you sink but float. Only pray and fast and He will direct your path. God is the only person you cannot ignore in your life for He alone will vindicate you. Be steadfast on your dream, ignore the outsider and you are sure of resounding victory in life.

 

BE The Best You Can BE

The world is full of different people with different ideologies. However,every individual was created to solve a specific problem on earth before going back to the creator. But are we actually doing what we are suppose to do or we just trying to please others we think are better than us and wish to be like? As you ponder over this lets just look at how best we can be ourselves and make the most of ourselves.

First and foremost, we need o know who we really are. If you know who actually you are you do only things you can do best but not the photocopy of others. You always try to do original things but not otherwise. Though no one can live in isolation we have to live our own lives that will make us independent of others dictating to us.

Secondly, one must at all cost develop his potential and talents. This can only be done if you are able to discover yourself.After you have discover yourself you need to go the extra mile to make you what you really think you can do. You cant actually succeed if you don't develop those potentials you have discovered.In developing yourself you need to take up courses and programmes that will be geared towards your goal.One thing you must not do, don't let people belittle your ambition.

Next, you need to be motivated. Motivation they say gets you going. Its that thing that tells you not to stop but move on. Get books and quotes that will ginger you to do more than you are doing. Look for and read peoples biography that you wished to be like. Learn how they made it. I have always told people that they see me smiling all the time not because all is well but the feeling and believe that i am what i am and will ever be. This I believe makes me exceptional. I believe in dreams only when it materialise into realities.

Children are the best gifts and yet we always ignore them.
We feel they are too young to understand the world when actually they understand the world they live in. W e always believe they have to keep quiet when an elderly person its talking even if the person is wrong. Gone were those days when the child has to accept everything thing in the name of respect and at the long run lose what they have. Its time for us to stand up andd fight for our own rights. Truly we the pearls of the future and we would go all out to be the jewels we have always wanted to be. GIVE US HOPE AND WE WILL LIVE FOR THE FUTURE

Choosing a career

The years of our lives are lived by what we do and how we do it. Doing what you desire is the most important thing that will ever happen to you. I have come across many individuals both young and old in different spheres of life doing different things for a living. My interactions with people also revealed that people are actually doing what they are doing simply because they cannot find a suitable job that suits their abilities and talents. Others also do it because of the economic hardship and will only do it because they need to get the money to make ends meet. One thing that always baffles me is that those who really find themselves in places where they are doing what their want to do are very few. According to research conducted over 80% of people are just working for the 20% of the worlds most successful people. What then can one do in preparing to choose a career that will actually correspond with his abilities. This is how we can do that.

1. Knowing yourself; The need to be what God made us to be by just doing what we can do best by not looking at what others think about us. You rule your own world

2.Developing yourself; When you know yourself it puts you above the rest of your colleagues simply because, you will not only do what they are doing but you will do it because you know you can. In developing yourself you will will have to go the do the extraordnari things your friends and colleaguse will not do. You need to attend seeminars, take short courses, listen to those who you admire and wish to be and many others that puts you above them.
